Choral Program

As an active member of Loyola Academy’s choral program, I focused part of my time on its digital branding and marketing. I utilized the school’s official logo and emblem, typography, and color palette (maroon, gold, and white) in order to highlight the program’s affiliation with the school. I re-vectored the logo and emblem.

I also designed the program for the Spring choir concert in 2012. Again, I utilized the school’s logo and color palette. I chose cursive typography to present a sense of elegance reflecting the presentation of the concert.

Man Choir

In 2011, I revitalized the existing men’s vocal ensemble and re-branded the group under the name “Man Choir.” Incorporating colors of maroon and gold similar to the school’s color palette, my main goal was to create something eye-catching and easily identifiable.

I also created both Man Choir and the choir program’s YouTube pages, uploading videos with customized intros and a lower third overlay reflective of the established digital brands.

The Loyola Prep

I was also the managing editor of Loyola Academy’s monthly newspaper, The Loyola Prep. Aside from creating the graphics, including the logos on the first and last page, I was also in charge of determining which articles were included and where they were placed, making final edits on each article, and scheduling deadlines. I was a finalist for the Illinois High School Association’s Journalism competition in 2012.
I held this position from 2010 to 2012.
